My first steps!

After all our friends left this weekend I gto ma and papa all excited by walking a few steps on my own. Papa was playing with me and I suddenly took a few steps by myself. He was thrilled and then they made me perform the same trick several times. They gave up only when I refused to stand up at all! Grown ups I tell you!!

My walker!

My ma and papa bought me a walker. I used to try walking holding it but wasn't quite successful. When Roopa bua came this weekend she taught me how to do it properly. I absolutely LOVED whizzing around, laughing and squealing!!
By the second day it had lost its novelty and wasn't as exciting but its still not a bad thing to have!

Akshay uncle!

Akshay uncle was with us this weekend. He normally wriggles out of doing any work but ma somehow conned him into feeding me! Ofcourse we had to take a picture of him doing this and put it on the blog for all to see!
Akshay uncle, you were quite OK and I think I can allow you to feed me again!

My first Diwali!

This was my first Diwali. I had a great one!! My Roopa bua and Rohit uncle drove down with Shahana (she does not want me to call her aunty) and Akshay uncle. The weekend was full of fun! We did a very authentic Diwali pooja (including the panchamrit, flowers, aartis, prasad), lit candles all around the house and inside it and ate lots of great food! We ended the great day with a bonfire around which we sang and danced till late at night!!
